Portugal Planned offers personal Portugal trip planning from New York. This notice explains how information is used when you visit this website or ask about a trip. For a privacy question, email hello@portugalplanned.com.

When you ask about a trip

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and the trip details you choose to share. These may include your travel month, number of days, party size, budget range, regions, interests, and a message. This information is used to reply, assess whether the service fits your trip, prepare a proposal, and provide any planning service we agree on.

Please leave passport details, payment-card numbers, medical records, and other sensitive information out of the form. There is no payment collection on this website.

Hosting, security, and email

Cloudflare hosts this website, helps protect the inquiry form from spam and abuse, and stores submitted inquiries in its D1 database. Website and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request time to deliver and protect the service.

An inquiry notification is sent to the business inbox so that your request can be answered. Email providers also process correspondence when you email us or receive a reply. Service providers receive information needed to perform these functions. We do not sell your personal information or provide it to advertisers.

Optional analytics

You can choose whether to allow PostHog analytics. It helps us understand which pages and services are useful and whether visitors can complete an inquiry. Analytics is optional, and you can use the website and inquiry form if you decline.

If you accept, analytics may record page visits, general browser or device information, referral or campaign information, and actions such as selecting a service or completing an inquiry. An inquiry event uses an opaque reference, rather than your name or email address. We do not send your contact details, travel preferences, budget, or message to PostHog. Automatic capture of form contents and session recordings are disabled.

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage. If you allow analytics, PostHog may also use browser storage to recognize visits. You can change your choice using Privacy choices in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics; you can also ask us about previously collected information by email.

How long information is kept

Inactive inquiries are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact. Information connected to an agreed service may be kept longer where needed to provide that service, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, or resolve a dispute. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to address fraud or protect the service.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you have provided by emailing hello@portugalplanned.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If a record must be retained, we will explain the reason. Sending a trip inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Other websites and service providers

If the website's practices change, this notice and the date above will be updated. You can always contact us with questions before sharing trip details.
